Aisha Hinds is an American actress best well-known for her performances in the tv shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has displayed her acting versatility by giving outstanding performances in television programs like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. The role she played in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first to catch her attention. But it was her portrayal of Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's rights) within the biography All the Way film that led to her fame as an actor. Hind was also acknowledged for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period dramatic series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show to air a new season. Hind recently Hind completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters to be scheduled to be released in the middle of 2019. Following the release of Provoked the - a True Story in English, she made a return to Bollywood and was a part of the big-budget Dhoom: 2 (2007). She was married in April 2007 to Abhishek Bachchan, who was a frequent co-star in the film and daughter of Bollywood great Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that brought two of India's most powerful personalities.
